I'm Shawn Phillips, born 1969 in Joplin, Missouri.
I have a son Michael, that is sixteen, and he is going to be the next Tony Hawk. He makes me proud and life is GOOD!

SO HERE IS MY STORY ......
If you have ever been in Missouri in the winter, you know what the white stuff is, that falls from the sky ~ SNOW. As a child, i rode my sled while holding onto a rope tied to the bumper of my dad's truck. I would fly through the snow. I loved the Snow, BUT; I despised the cold. Of course at that age, that's when you know everything and your parents know nothing. We are always right until the first time we are wrong. Good thing we are not wrong often.

My story is simple..... i am a creator. I enjoy drawing, pottery, airbrushing, and playing the harp on sesame street. I also think I have a sense of humor.


Sometimes people want to make the wheel better, why screw with something that works! Sometimes, you just need to give it a good polish! Some designs are like that, they don't need to be re-designed, just polished. A good design is a good design. I like to create new art of any kind, but there is a good challenge in taking something and putting new light to it. Truth be told, i want to be the next guy who designs something as famous as the Del Monte logo. Like when you go to the store you
know exactly who Del Monte is..huh? I believe each of us has some
kind of artistic quality......We ALL have to find our own.
